Developing software is a 360-degree process that involves both front-end and back-end design and coding. In today’s world, software development encompasses standalone applications, web development, and smartphone and mobile development. Our programming and software development concentration spans all of these domains and allows you to focus on the following programming language strands: C#, Java, or a combination of PHP, Javascript, HTML5, and CSS for web development. This concentration consists of four courses that cover software development concepts and feature in-depth exercises related to various language strands, one course on SQL, and one course on software development methodology that allows you to develop a finished software product.
