Bachelor of Science in Accounting (Online)

From large corporations to small firms, every business needs an accountant to make informed financial decisions. With an accounting degree from Post University, you can fulfill this integral role in accounting departments of local or national businesses, the federal government, or non-profit organizations. Many of our graduates enter the workforce right away or pursue their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification.

Program Highlights

This program provides 36 accounting credit hours to meet the educational requirements for becoming a CPA in most states, and accounting courses cover topics on the CPA and CMA exams. You will also gain knowledge in areas such as:

  • Accounting Principles application (United States and International)
  • Financial statement preparation and analysis
  • Tax law reporting and compliance
  • Audit standards and procedures
  • Business information analysis using current technologies

You can obtain your accounting degree in a traditional, 16-week format at our Connecticut campus (evening and weekend classes available) or in an accelerated, eight-week online environment — or a combination of both.
