Doctor of Philosophy in Education - Instructional Leadership

Northcentral University’s Doctor of Philosophy in Education is designed for educators and active scholars in the field of education who want to make significant contributions to the existing body of knowledge. The program combines a strong base of theoretical knowledge with an individualized focus to conduct research in and about PK-12, post-secondary, and adult learning environments, as students create new and innovative information to advance their specialized field in education. Students will also alternate specialization and research courses, building content while improving research knowledge and skills. This program will help build the skills necessary for teaching in higher education, conducting educational research, and working in the area of educational research.

The PhD in Education degree with a specialization in Instructional Leadership will develop your knowledgebase in instructional leadership research, theory and practice with an emphasis on change through policy development and educational reform.
