Master of Science in Counseling - Applied Behavioral Science

Graduate study in the field of counseling is designed to strengthen the academic and professional competence of the student by developing the capacity for independent study, mastering research skills appropriate to the field of study and building the analytical creative, integrative, and evaluative techniques as applied to a specialized field of study. Each of the counseling program’s four emphases are designed to instruct students in the scientific method, to enhance professional counseling skills, to integrate knowledge of the discipline along with a Christian faith-based perspective and to prepare students for success in the workplace and in ministry settings.
