Master of Science in Criminal Justice - Cybercrime Investigation (Online)

Liberty’s 100% online M.S. in Criminal Justice – Cybercrime Investigation helps students learn to protect critical infrastructures from digital criminals, foreign adversaries, and terrorists. This program is designed to help criminal justice professionals gain the specialized technical skills to keep communities and our nation safe from digital threats. The cybercrime investigation track builds on students’ technical skills and criminal justice experience to equip them with specialized study in how to understand and investigate cybercrime as well as develop research and leadership skills that are essential to the cybersecurity field. Students will conduct original thesis research on a new or relatively unknown topic in cyber criminology so they can become an expert in the field and be prepared to excel in their careers.

Liberty’s M.S. in Criminal Justice - Cybercrime Investigation equips students for advanced roles within the cybersecurity and criminal justice fields. This program will assist students who want to become digital investigation specialists and pursue roles in law enforcement, cybercrime research, and cybersecurity. Students in this program will explore cybercrime law, cyber criminology, and cybersecurity techniques which will uniquely prepare them for this specialized field in criminal justice. Graduates of the cybercrime investigation will be well-equipped for roles as cyber criminology instructors, cybercrime intelligence analysts, cybercrime investigators, cybercrime victim advocates, detectives in public or private sectors, and special agent in cybercrime investigation.
