Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies

The Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies degree is an innovative accelerated teaching degree program designed to help prospective teachers complete their bachelor’s degree while gaining valuable subject-matter preparation for a successful teaching career. Graduates will be prepared take the California Subject Examination for Teachers (CSET), and are eligible to enter a teaching credential program, including any of those offered at APU. They may also soon begin teaching in their own classroom by enrolling in APU’s unique Intern Credential Program.

A Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies will help prepare you for a career as a:

  • Customer Service/Sales
  • Human Resource Manager
  • Librarian
  • Public Relations Manager
  • Social Worker

You may complete your Liberal Studies degree online, or on campus at UC’s San Dimas location or other Southern California regional campuses. Upon entering the program, you will be assigned a success coach to help you get the most out of your education and time at Azusa Pacific.
