Arizona College’s Nursing Simulation Laboratory offers a healthcare setting focused toward the transition to clinical practice. Simulation is the process of engaging in activities or events that replicate clinical practice. It includes multiple types of scenario-based simulations using high-fidelity, medium-fidelity and low-fidelity manikins, standardized patients, role playing and computer based simulations. The extensive practice in the Simulation Laboratory will prepare nursing students to care for patients during their clinical rotations.
