The Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies provides a solid foundation of theoretical knowledge and practical application in communication studies. Students explore the role of effective communication skills including interpersonal communication, small group communication, and organizational communication. Students also examine the role of technology, including social media, in the field of communication. Each course in the degree ties theory with practice giving students opportunities to apply what they learn. Finally, the degree also examines the legal and ethical aspects of the field of communication related to common law and statues and in consideration of a biblical perspective.
