Master of Arts in Applied Psychology (Online)

The M.A. in Psychology, Child and Adolescent Concentration online program focuses on factors that affect child development and behavior. Graduates of the program will be prepared to enter careers in a number of fields. Students who enroll in the program that does not interfere with other commitments. The program will also allow students to have the freedom to complete courses at their own pace and in a setting that best suits them, whether it is at home or a coffee shop. The M.A. in Psychology, Child and Adolescent Concentration program requires 18 credit hours in core courses, specifically Foundational Psychology, as well as six credit hours in an applied research program and 12 credit hours within the student’s chosen concentration. A range of topics are covered in the online program, including:

  • Evaluation and treatment of juvenile offenders
  • Evidence-based programs
  • Trauma and crisis intervention

Along with their courses, students will gain an understanding of the issues adolescents face today. Graduates of the online psychology program will be prepared for careers in:
